I'm a local expert (I mean, I've been exploring these mountains before specialized hiking gear was a thing), meaning that I can help you find some of the best spots to exchange vows in the Tirol region of Austria and the Southern region of Bavaria. One of my favorite things to do is to introduce you to the landscape and communities that I love so much. In addition to helping you find the perfect location to get married, I'll also provide recommendations for activities, places to stay, and other spots to explore.

I grew up here...and in the US. Comes with the territory when your mother is American and your father is German...and your family spends all their time in Austria. I now split my time between these two continents. 3-4 months of the year I'm in the Tirol region of Austria and the rest of the year I'm in the Adirondacks of Upstate NY.
My favorite thing about the Austrian Alps is how quiet they are compared to our Swiss and Italian neighbors- perfect for exchanging vows in privacy. My second favorite thing is the hut culture here! Think delicious food in some of the most breathtaking alpine landscapes- all reachable by foot. In 2013, my dog Arlo and I hiked the Alps from Munich to the northern border of Italy and I definitely have some favorites to recommend!

Bavarian Alps Elopement Packages
Right across the border in Germany are some of my favorite lakes and mountains to explore. With a smidge milder weather, mountains can safely be accessed into October.
Hiking elopements are the BEST in this region. Hot tip- Wanna know the best to month to avoid? August. Most folks in the area are on vacation this month so privacy is harder to get.
